CASE STUDY: Cowick rd, Tooting.
CLIENT: Wandsworth Council
VALUE: £250,000
|
We initially undertook a £250,000 external repairs and redecoration program to the whole of Cowick Rd. All properties were occupied throughout the works with elderly tenants. The works comprised window renewal, external redecorations, roof repairs and brickwork repairs.
The £190,000 Design and Build of a community centre for the elderly residents of Cowick Rd in the garden space at the end of a terraced property provided a valuable local resource and incorporated the offices for a local support team. The facility provided full disabled access via ramps.
We further went on to work in Daleside Rd as part of a major scheme of renovation to void properties. They all had new kitchens, bathrooms, disabled access, full rewires and new central heating systems. The work took place in 9 locations across the borough for contract sums ranging from £30,000 - £100,000 all on 6 -7 week contract periods.
